We’re voting for Deb Busser for State Representative. We ask that you do the same. We met Deb and her family three years ago when they became our next-door neighbors. From this vantage point, we have a close-up view of Deb’s values, how she interacts with others, and how she feels about her community.
Words to describe the neighbor we know? Responsive, concerned, dedicated – the same words we hope will describe our next State Rep.
We all know how it feels to ask an important question but get only a cookie-cutter answer. How it feels to write a heart-felt letter or make a phone call and get nothing back at all. But when you interact with Deb – at an event, on email, walking down the street or in the backyard – you know she’s fully engaged – that she’s listening.
Her responses are on point, considerate, creative. She wants to know what’s on your mind, where she can help, where she can suggest a direction. Representation as it should be.
Some people are on the right side of history. They see where the times are trending, and they move quickly to get it right. We’ve been to Deb’s website and seen her list of endorsements – AFL-CIO, Sierra Club, Women’s Political Caucus, Environmental League, Stonewall Democrats. She also has the endorsement of Marion Stoddart, our local activist-hero who single-handedly cleaned up the Nashua River. These endorsements recognize Deb’s deep concern for the local economy, the environment, health, education and civil rights – they demonstrate that Deb is on the right side of history.
Deb’s dedication to our district is as natural as breathing, literally, because she has always lived here. She attended local schools and played on teams, she raised her family here, she established her consulting business here. She knows what our six towns need because she has lived those needs. She knows what our six towns can do because she has lived the possibilities.
Join us in voting for Deb Busser for State Representative by November 3rd. As our new voice in Boston, she’ll respond to our issues, she’ll vote for our concerns, and she’ll be motivated by her lifelong dedication to the towns the 1st Middlesex District. We couldn’t be happier than to think of her as our new State Rep. Help make change real. Here’s her website: debforstaterep.com.
