A Surprise Encounter On The Kentucky Bourbon Trail

Seems you may meet new friends from Groton wherever you may go!
My husband and I just returned from a trip to Kentucky where we did some of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. While we don’t often stay in a Bed and Breakfast, we liked the location and information about “The Meeting House” in Frankfort, Kentucky and decided to stay there. What a coincidence that the inn-keepers, Rose and Gary Burke were formerly Groton, MA residents for many years and raised their children in Groton.
I believe that Gary and Rose moved from Groton in the late 1990s due to Gary’s job responsibilities. Ultimately, they moved from Groton to New York to Frankfort, KY where Rose was able to pursue her dream job (with Gary’s support) and opened their B&B in Frankfort in 2002. They are hoping to retire near family in Virginia now and I found that the B&B on 519 Ann St. in Frankfort is listed on Zillow with some very nice pictures. Attached with their permission are a couple of photos we took. (The gentleman in the photo is Gary Burke. Unfortunately Rose was not available for the photo at that time).
