LETTER: Thank You and Happy Holidays from Loaves & Fishes

Thanks to the generosity of our communities and the hard work of more than 75 volunteers, 355 local families received all the fixings for their Thanksgiving dinner complete with a frozen turkey, stuffing, gravy, pie, cranberry sauce, juice and fresh vegetables, during our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Distribution event Monday, Nov. 18.

We are busy preparing for our Holiday Dinner Distribution event Monday, Dec.16. Thanks to the overwhelming response we received to our recent request for frozen turkey donations, we have enough turkeys for the event!

We are still in need of certain food items for our Holiday Dinner Distribution, such as hams (fresh or canned, three lbs. and up), frozen pies (apple/berry), canned pineapple slices, turkey and chicken broth, nuts/fancy crackers/fancy snacks, ham glaze, yams, stuffing, 100% juice, coffee and cocoa.

Donations for this event will be accepted Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15 between 1-3 p.m. at 234 Barnum Road, Devens. Donations are also accepted any time the pantry is open.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, staff, volunteers and especially our clients, we wish to extend our appreciation to our communities and wish all a happy, healthy and wonderful holiday season!
