LETTER: 'Serious Morale Issues'

To the Editor:

I wanted to thank the Groton Herald for the article "Some Veteran On-Call Fire Fighters Protest Work Environment". 

I have been a member of this Department long enough to see first hand how things really are. I have to say also that despite what the "Front Office" would have you believe, there are serious morale issues within this Department.

Your article has forced some to lash out at your paper and you personally, I ask you to imagine what it's like for us who are involved.
