Groton Grange Celebration, Saturday, May 2

Groton Grange No. 7 will celebrate completion of renovations to its historic hall with an afternoon open house Saturday, May 12. Groton citizens will be invited in appreciation for approving, in 2009, Community Preservation Act funds to stabilize and preserve this quaint structure located at 80 Champney St. There will be old-time refreshments, exhibits, music, and a scavenger hunt appropriate for all ages.

Do you have Grange-related memorabilia (postcards, photos, badges, carriage accoutrements, etc.) hiding in your attic, desk, garage, or barn to loan or to donate? Or personal memories of the Grange (social dances, projects, or events, etc.) to share, in writing or orally, for this event? We would love to collect as much as possible, as soon as possible!
