Section 218-2.5 Site Plan Review – Marijuana Retail Establishment

   In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 40A, §§ 9 and 11, M. G. L., and the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 218, the Groton Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 7:20 PM to consider the application submitted by UC Retail, LLC under the provisions of Groton Zoning By-law Section 218-2.5, Major Site Plan Review.  The application is for an adult-use recreational marijuana retail establishment to be located at 489 Main Street, Unit A (Mill Run Plaza).  The proposed marijuana retail establishment will occupy 2,188 square feet of space and will require changes to the exterior of the building, as shown on the site plan and architectural drawings provided with the application.  The project site is located at 489 Main Street, Unit A (Assessors’ Parcel 216-1.5).

   The Dunstable Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, June 27, 2022, 6:30pm to consider a Notice of Intent filed by Corey Schutzman of New England Power Company for maintenance and improvement activities associated with the 326 Transmission Line Right-of-Way in Dunstable. The applicant proposes to replace existing structures and guidewires, mowing of work pads, maintenance and improvements to existing access roads, and grading and matting of work pads.  This is a joint hearing under the requirements of MGL Ch. 131 §40, as amended, and the Dunstable Wetlands Protection Bylaw and Regulations, as amended. Invitation to Bid

   The Town of Townsend invites mobile communications firms to submit proposals for the leasing of space at Town-owned property for the installation and operation of wireless communications equipment. The lease shall be for a period of ten (10 years) on the date of execution of a mutually agreed upon lease agreement. The proposer (Lessee) shall obtain all permits and pay all costs associated with the Lessee's equipment.

   The location is at 12 Dudley Road, Townsend, MA and there is currently a cell tower on this site.

   Sealed bids are due by 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, at the Office of the Town Administrator/ Chief Procurement Officer, Town of Townsend, 272 Main Street, Townsend, MA 01469, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened.
