Groton Conservation Commission

In accordance with the Wetlands Protection Act, MGL Ch. 131, §40, and the Town of Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 8 at 7:15 PM in the Groton Town Hall, 2nd Floor meeting room.  The purpose is to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filed by Jesse Cotter for the installation of a new drinking water well at 6 Island Road (Groton Assessors Parcel 131-47).  The proposed work is located within the wetlands buffer zone and the ACEC.

Copies of the RDA are on file in the Commission office in Town Hall.

In accordance with the Wetlands Protection Act, MGL Ch. 131, §40, and the Town of Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 8 at 7:00 PM in the Groton Town Hall, 2nd Floor meeting room.  The purpose is to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filed by Tara Tomany for the after-the-fact conversion (e.g., clear cutting) of approx. 1 acre of forest to pasture land at 89 Skyfields Drive (Groton Assessors Parcel 235-40).  The proposed work is located within the wetlands buffer zone, NHESP Priority Habitat, and the ACEC.

Copies of the RDA are on file in the Commission office in Town Hall.

Public Hearing Notice

Stormwater Management Permit

In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 198 of the Code of Groton, the Earth Removal Stormwater Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Town Hall (second floor meeting room) to consider the application for a Limited  Stormwater Management Permit submitted by Moulton Construction to construct housing for people 55-years old and older as shown on the plan entitled, “Erosion Control Plan, Hummingbird Way, Rocky Hill, Groton, MA,” prepared by Ducharme & Dillis Civil Design Group, dated April 11, 2018.  The proposed development will be located on Assessors’ Map 120, Parcel 2-40, on the northerly side of Robin Hill Road.

Copies of the application and plans are on file in the Town Hall. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting ADA Coordinator Michelle Collette at (978) 448-1105 at least one week prior to the hearing.

The Dunstable Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 7, 2018, 7:35 pm, at the Dunstable Town Hall – lower level, 511 Main Street, to consider Stormwater Management Regulations for the Town of Dunstable.  These regulations are promulgated in accordance with the Stormwater Management and Erosion Control Bylaw adopted on May 9, 2016 and the Municipal Storm Drain System/Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS) permitting.  For the proposed changes, please contact the Planning Board office at 978-649-4514 x230.
