Dunstable Conservation Commission

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

   At its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 6:35pm at the Town Hall lower level, the Dunstable Conservation Commission will consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) to conduct a geotechnical boring investigation within the New England Power O42-5 Tap overhead electric transmission line right-of-way. The purpose of the Project is to collect geotechnical information to support a future project to refurbish the transmission line. It will cause limited temporary impacts from the placement of timber construction mats to the wetland resource areas Bordering Vegetated Wetlands, Bordering Land Subject to Flooding, as well as to the 100-foot Buffer Zone and 200-foot Riverfront Area. Request submitted by VHB on behalf of the applicant New England Power Company for the Dunstable substation on Pleasant Street and west over Unkety Brook, Dunstable, MA 01827. The Commission will make its determination in accordance with the provisions of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. c.131 § 40, its associated Regulations (310 CMR 10.00) and the Town of Dunstable General Wetland Bylaw. ADVERTISEMENT TO BID

MGL c.149 Over $150K

   The GROTON ELECTRIC LIGHT DEPARTMENT, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the New Storage Facility in Groton, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by HELENE·KARL ARCHITECTS, INC. 

   The Project consists of but not limited to: 

construction of a new 3200 SF pre-engineered building (cold storage) located at the substation. The scope includes limited site work, concrete foundations, a pre-engineered structure, insulated metal panels, overhead doors and lighting. 

   The construction will be administered using BidDocs’ construction software paid for by the Awarding Authority or Prime Designer. 

   The work is estimated to cost $600,000.00.

   All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by and by 03/23/2023 at 5:00PM EDT for general bids. 

   Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
