Dunstable Affordable Housing Committee RFP

The Town of Dunstable Affordable Housing Committee is seeking proposals from qualified development teams for the acquisition and development of some or all of a 28.5 acre lot located on Assessor’s Map 12 Lots 48 and 49-1 and known as the Mixed Use District that is owned by the Town of Dunstable.  The RFP is available in the Town Administrator’s Office on December 3, 2018.  Proposals are due on February 1, 2019 by 2:00 p.m. in the Office of the Town Administrator, Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main Street, Dunstable, MA.

   Public notice is hereby given of the application by Glenn Kinnear to construct and maintain a proposed: dock, retaining wall and rip rap at 54 Ridgewood Ave, Groton, MA 01450,  

   The Department will consider all written comments on this Waterways application received by within 30 days subsequent to the “Notification Date”. Failure of any aggrieved person or group of ten citizens or more to submit written comments to the Waterways Regulation Program by the Public Comments Deadline will result in the waiver of any right to an adjudicatory hearing in accordance with 310 CMR 9.13(4)(c). The group of citizens must include no less than five citizens who are residents of the municipality in which the proposed project is located.

Self-Evaluation/Transition Plan

The Commission on Accessibility will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Town Hall (first floor meeting room) to hear comments on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Self-Evaluation/Transition Plan for Town-owned buildings, prepared by the Northeast Program Independent Living Program, Inc. and the Northeast ADA Access Group, dated October 15, 2018.

The Self-Evaluation/Transition Plan is on file in the Town Hall and available on the Town’s website at:  www.townofgroton.org. The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability.  The Select Board has scheduled a public hearing with the Board of Assessors, within a regular Select Board meeting, on Monday, November 19, 2018, at 7:15 p.m. at the Groton Town Hall, 173 Main Street, 2nd Floor Meeting Room. The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on the issue of adopting a tax levy percentage for Fiscal Year 2019.  All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Proposed Revisions to Planning Board Regulations

   The Groton Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 7:30 PM in the Town Hall, 173 Main Street, to consider revisions to the Code of the Town of Groton, Chapter 381 Planning Board Regulations.  The proposed revisions will replace all references to the “Board of Selectmen” with the new name of “Select Board”.

   Copies of the proposed revisions are on file in the Planning Board office and the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall.
