Public Meeting Notice

Groton Conservation Commission

In accordance with the Wetlands Protection Act, MGL Ch. 131, §40, and the Town of Groton Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Groton Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:30 PM in the Groton Town Hall, 2nd Floor meeting room.  The purpose is to consider a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filed by the Invasive Species Committee for treatment of the invasive species autumn olive (mowing, cutting, application of herbicide) at the Eliades Conservation Area (Groton Assessors Parcel 221-43.1).  The proposed work is located within the wetlands buffer zone, NHESP Estimated Habitat, and the ACEC.

Copies of the RDA are on file in the Commission office in Town Hall.
