Public Hearing - Commission on Accessibility Article
The Commission on Accessibility will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 4 PM in the Town Hall (first floor meeting room) on the following warrant article to be considered at the Spring Town Meeting:
ARTICLE To see if the Town will vote to accept the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 22G, to allocate all funds received from fines assessed for violations of handicap parking to the Commission on Accessibility and that funds so received shall be deposited by the Town Treasurer in a separate account used solely for the benefit of persons with disabilities.
The Town of Groton does not discriminate on the basis of disability. Further, a signed translation of this public hearing will be provided for the hearing impaired upon request by contacting ADA Coordinator Michelle Collette at (978) 448-1105 at least one week prior to the hearing.
