Two Ways To Help Keep People Warm This Winter

Groton & Ayer Churches Sponsor Coat Drive

Sunday, Nov, 18, noon to 3 p.m., Shepherd of the Valley (SOV) Lutheran Church and the Federated Church of Ayer will be giving individuals and families the opportunity to choose a winter jacket/coat. To donate adult and kids coats, look for drop-off boxes at local police stations, libraries, schools, supermarkets, etc. Or bring the coats to the churches’ shared location at 21 Washington Street, Ayer on Friday, Nov. 16 from 3 until 8 p.m.  We will be sorting the coats that Friday. Help us by donating only clean, gently used (or new) coats for our neighbors in need. For more information, contact Cathy Drescher, SOV’s Care-Giving Ministry leader at cdrescher2018@gmail.com.
