Red Cross Blood Drive at UCC

All blood types needed this holiday season to help ensure sufficient supply for patients. All who donate Dec. 22 -Jan. 8, will receive a long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last.  Tues. Dec. 27 from 2 - 7 p.m., a blood drive will be held at Union Congregational Church, 220 Main St., Groton.

Download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make appointment or for more info. Blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of ID required at check-in. 17 years of age most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and in good health may be eligible to donate. High school students and donors 18 years and younger must meet height/weight requirements.

Use RapidPass to complete pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online, on day of donation, prior to arriving at the blood drive. Learn more at redcrossblood.org/RapidPass.
