Handel and His Messiah at Groton Senior Center

Groton Council on Aging presents Handel and His Messiah, Monday, December 19 at 10 a.m. John Murphy, retired Lowell schools’ music director, will recount Handel’s life culminating in his most famous work, "The Messiah," which burst onto the stage of Musick Hall in Dublin on April 13, 1742 and saved the composer’s failing career.
