Hadassah Kicks off Heart Health Walking Program

Join Hadassah Northeast for a wonderful multi-faceted program to kick off “Every Step Counts,” Hadassah’s heart health walking program. The agenda includes the screening of award-winning documentary, The Work of 1000, which illustrates one woman’s effort to clean up the Nashua River.

After the documentary, there is a special opportunity to hear and meet special guests

Marion Stoddart, the focus of the documentary, and Susan Edwards, the award-winning documentary’s director and producer. Following the discussion, the group will meet at Williams Barn for a 1.5-hour heart-healthy trail walk (through wetlands, forest, and a gorgeous field), led by naturalist/educator Stacey Chilcoat and geologist Nancy Jackson, PhD.

“Every Step Counts” launches April 11 through July 21. Last year, over 1,000 women and men walked over 350,000 miles for their heart health. Register for the 2016 “Every Step Counts” athttp://www.hadassah.org/startingline.
