American Legion Post #55 Turkey Raffle

American Legion Post #55 will conduct its 57th annual turkey raffle and door prize drawing Friday, Nov. 21st at Groton Senior Center, 163 Main St., West Groton at 7:30 PM. Ten turkeys will be raffled off along with door prize drawings and 20 wheel spin rounds for hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise, 10 additional turkeys, and gift certificates. Admission is free to this family friendly event.

This is Post #55's largest fundraising event each year with proceeds used to fund various American Legion programs including Boys and Girls State scholarships, the Memorial Day parade, and flag purchases. Area businesses interested in donating door prizes should contact Dave Elliott at 978-448-6711. Post 55 membership includes veterans and active members of all five service branches: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.
