Scouting on Display at Grotonfest

Members of the Nashaway Girl Scouts and various Groton-Dunstable Scouting groups came together on September 21st for a day of interactive fun and games at Legion Field. The community was invited to learn and experience what Scouting has to offer kids from K-12. There was lots to see and do from crossing rope bridges and tossing tomahawks to cooking cornbread and frying Oreos to trying out the sirens on the Police ATV. Groups on hand included Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, Ventures, Firefighter Explorers, Police Auxiliary, and Nashaway Girl Scouts. For more information about all the Scouting programs offered in Groton and Dunstable, check out the GDScouting.org website.
