Ringing in the New Year

The UCC Handbell Choir, under the direction of Cheryl Townsend, provided the program for the December meeting of the Groton Woman’s Club. After playing one of their numbers featured in the Community Christmas Concert, Cheryl gave a brief history of handbells and the UCC Handbell Choir. Handbells and chimes were passed out, and those attending were able to ring and sing Christmas carols. Photo by Therese Keoseian
