Grotonfest!

Groton Dunstable Cheer Team puts on a great show at Grotonfest

Lynwood (Val) Prest, Groton Recycling Committee member is pictured introducing Groton’s Don’t Trash Recyclables campaign at GrotonFest to Groton resident Benjamin (Ben) Krywucki. Signs and two-sided information cards were introduced to festival attendees which showed new, simple, and colorful icons for how to recycle. Details included the many resources for free recycling available to everyone at the Groton Transfer Station and Recycling Center. Look for the new icons to be posted at the transfer station soon! MassDEP grant funded a large part of the campaign. Photo by Nancy Ohringer
