Late last winnter the Groton Fire Department helped Building Envelope Specialists identify causes of systemic water infilltrarion throughout the Library. GFD generously deployed the ladder truck allowing specialits to take a close look at cracked and broken synthetic shingles showing loss of protective coating and discoloration, moisture absorption and vegetative growth, among many other closely and carefully examined problems.
