This well-known woodcut print by engraver John Warner Barber from 1838 shows the Meeting House facing Lowell Road as it was originally constructed and as it would have looked in 1765 when town meeting voters debated and declared their opposition to the Stamp Act and held to the unalienable rights of the people of Groton.
