Bids Sought on Town of Groton Road Repair Materials and Work
INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Groton DPW will accept SEALED BIDS for the following items:
TREATED STONE SEAL - approx. 25,000 s/y
PAINTED TRAFFIC LINES - approx. 200,000 lin.ft.
FIBER REINFORCED CRACK SEALING - approx. 5,000gal.
ASPHALT COLD PLANING - approx. 8,000 s/y
**** BITUMINOUS CONCRETE - approx. 4,000 Tons
IN PLACE RECYCLING - approx. 8,000 s/y
**** MUST BE PREQUALIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH 720 CMR 5.00
All materials must meet Mass. Highway Department specifications for Highways and Bridges. Wages paid shall not be less than those prescribed by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development in accordance with Mass. General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 25-27D inclusive.
Specifications will be available at the Town Managers Office Town Hall, 173 Main Street in Groton between the hours of 8am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Electronic copies can be obtained by requesting at highway@townofgroton.org
SEALED BIDS, clearly marked, will be received in the office of the Town Manager, 173 Main Street Groton, MA 01450, any time prior to Thursday May 24, 2018 at 10:00 am at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids, and to reject any and all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the towns.
