New Stage Comedy in Fitchburg Puts Romance To the Test

Forge Theater Lab at Fitchburg State University is kicking off its second season with a production of “On Our Terms,” a new play written by Fitchburg State alumna Mary Darling. The play runs September 6-14 in the Wallace Theater for the Perform- ing Arts in the McKay Building at 67 Rindge Road. This production is directed by Noah Dawson of Fitchburg, another FSU graduate who is also a drama teacher at the Sizer School.

Jimmy Fund Walk

Groton resident, Josh Haskin, is walking the Boston Marathon® Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai for the 28th time. Josh was a treated at Dana-Farber 33 years ago, and wanted to give back. “I owe my life to the doctors and nurses that treated me,” Josh writes.

Seeking Candidates for Vacant Planning Board Seat

Town of Groton Planning Board Vacancy
As required by MGL Chapter 41, Section 10 and 11, there exists one (1) vacancy on the Groton Planning Board. The appointment to fill said vacancy shall be in a joint session with the Select Board and the remaining Planning Board Members at a Select Board Meeting to be held on Monday, September 30, 2019, at 7:15 PM in the Second Floor Meeting Room of the Groton Town Hall.
