This is a photo from a reenactment of the opening hostilities of the Revolutionary War at the ‘Rude Bridge’ in Concord. Although Groton Minutemen arrived too late for this battle, the people of Groton played an active and key role in the decision to go to war with Great Britian and in fighting the war, seeking their independence. An opportunity to learn more about our history through a dramatic presentation will take place at The Old Meeting House [First Parish Church] on Saturday, April 13. Sarting at 6:30 p.m. on the Minutemen Common, the 6th Middlesex Regiment will perform a Muster and Demonstration. The dramatic Patriots Path - Groton 1765-1776 presentation begins in the meeting house at 7 p.m. All are welcome. Free of charge. Please see information ad on page 8
