At the Middlesex Bank 2019 Community Gift presentation Friends of the Groton Elders Chair Marie Melican [center] and Senior Center Building Committee Chair Peter Cunningham [right] accepted the $15,000 grant on behalf of the Friends of the Groton Elders, presented by Mike McAuliffe, president and CEO of Middlesex Savings Bank [left]. Friends of the Groton Elders Chair Marie Melican stated that the gift would be directed to the building fund, which has been established by the Elders to help fund the construction of the new Senior Center.
